This horseback riding route is located in one of the most beautiful places in Armenia, rich in beautiful nature and historic-cultural monuments.
The route starts in the forest, after which it passes through the Dsegh village. It is very interesting to ride through the historical village, where old houses and monuments are found at every step. The village is followed by beautiful fields that stretch to the gorge of the Marts River. The half-ruined, but amazing Bardzrakash Monastery is hidden in the gorge. The return route of the horseback riding tour passes mostly through fields, where you can enjoy a long gallop.
Horseback riding is available from early spring to late fall.
The length of the route is 16-17 km, and the duration is 3-4 hours.
